Day 41 Hello Friend

Hello! Hello! my friends, of here and there—

In this a wish to you of hope and care!

These flowers, berries, leaves of green, a gift—

to bring a smile and help your hearts uplift.

I’ve been thinking of all my friends, even calling some I have not spoken to for years as our lives drifted apart from our home town.  I’ve been hoping that all are well and adapting, and they are– moving forward in finding ways to continue their lives and to stay connected while staying safe.

Writing something positive to others also makes one’s own life more positive. And I certainly feel much better knowing this bit of art and poetry may lift another’s heart.

PROMPT:

Write and send a positive note to someone today.

Also, I continued my attempts at couplets and iambic pentameter [see here].

Take care and stay safe my friends, and to all.
