Sunshine and shadows followed our daily walk today. Love the surprises we find, like this weed, dried and windblown into a heart shape, just for us to find.
And it was a heartfelt walk.
While walking, the phones in our hands, ready for another picture should something catch our eyes, buzzed for a face-time call from our granddaughter and great-grandson who just pushed out his first tooth.
And, as we finished ooing and ahing, and “mmm mmm mmmmammmma”-ing over the little sparkles, we found others listening to our call:
Pausing at home to review the memory through photos, I felt like we’d been “walking on sunshine,” and this song popped into my head.
Enjoy:
Here’s a prompt:
Sun or rain or otherwise, take a walk today and share your joy.
“…and I just can’t wait for the day when you knock on my door…”
One of my favorites! Happiness and love knocked on your door during your walk because you were observant! Thank you for sharing this slice, Sheri!
Thanks Joy — a great walk it was! 🙂
