My Canopy
Imagine creatures
flying through
the canopy
or just lay beneath
and observe:
chickadee chirping
squirrel chattering
robin snooping
purple house finch swooping
butterfly fluttering
caterpillar creeping
beetle eating
all the while
light and shadow
play tag
with fairies
dancing:
all in the world of
my tree.
