Moving Forward
What will you keep from the #8WeekofSummer Blog Challenge moving forward?
I’ll keep checking on the reflective blogs of these weekly participants; I’ve created a widget for my blog so I can easily click and check in to discover the realities of their educational worlds.
I’d like to thank the bloggers for their thoughtful responses that still have me thinking about education today. We’ve touched on curriculum, strategies, leadership, principals, policies, with each an effect on students and their learning.
Each blogger has their own perspective to add to the conversation about education. Each post sends a ripple of reflection into the ocean of information on education.
One ripple? It just takes one to change the direction of movement, and one to inspire a forward movement for someone else.
Take them away, and there’s possibly only so-called “expert” information. However, it’s the classroom voice that is most authentic.
We need each voice and their story because each voice is an experience that’s helped a student– and it may be just the idea that guides someone else to help another student.
So keep blogging friends! You’re changing tomorrow with your actions today– share it so we learn together and encourage a better world for the future.

I do enjoy chatting with people in the trenches. It is definitely authentic, isn’t it?

Sheri, that widget is a good idea. I use Feedly for all the blogs I want to follow – only one click whenever I want, and the new posts from people pop up! (That’s how I’m following yours now.) Thank you for tagging me on this blogging challenge – it helped me keep up this summer, and I loved getting reconnected with you and your ideas!!

I have Feedly too, but I need to clear it out and start over — it’s way to full. I started it so long ago. So, I’ve got my widgets to keep up with the people I’m connected with and/or appreciate their ideas, even if I sometimes don’t agree. Twitter feeds me so much, but it’s nice to open my blog and click to great reads.
By having a widget, I’m also promoting the blogs as something worthy for others to visit.
