I look forward to Mondays because it’s the start of the week, the chance to regather our teams and move forward with a better focus.

We feed on the energy of the weekend with a few laughs. Like when Madto spilled the horse feed and spent hours sweep it up. A short chore made long. Funny stories that at the time did not seem funny.
Sometimes we get serious, because it’s not all funny. This week is a funeral from a former student. It’s a sad time. But we get our feelings out so we can deal with the week ahead.
I like Mondays because the renewal of our time builds the relationships we need to work together in a caring learning community. How about you?
